How to get to Gothenburg

The airport Landvetter (GOT) is located 20 kilometers south-east of the city center.

It’s easy to get to and from the airport with the shuttle bus service named ”Flygbussarna”. The journey is between 25 and 30 minutes. Buses leave from right outside the terminal building and the final stop is the main bus station Nils Ericsson terminal in central Gothenburg, but the closest bus stop to the conference venue is Korsvägen/Svenska mässan.

Tickets are bought at the best price online on the website https://www.flygbussarna.se/en. They can also be bought at the airport in the following places:

  • In the kiosk in the domestic arrival and departure hall. Opening hours Monday–Friday 10:00–18:00.
  • In the ticket machine by the bus stop, or by the exit of the airport to the bus stop.
  • 7-Eleven at Landvetter Airport

The bus stops at Korsvägen/Svenska mässan and Berzeliigatan are close to the hotels recommended below.

Please note that the ticket that you buy at Flygbussen is not valid at the city buses and trams.

Taxi or rental cars are also available at the airport.
