Art and rehabilitation

Theme day

Symposium about the role and potential of art in psychological rehabilitation.

Art, dance and music - the role of culture and art in psychological rehabilitation has increased in contemporary research. At the same time, it can be seen as a cultural heritage that is being rediscovered.

At this symposium, artists, researchers, clinics and patients meet to share their experiences and discuss the role of artistic expressions in the rehabilitation process.

The event is organized by Centre for Critical Heritage Studies, Department of Psychologi and Sahlgrenska (University of Gothenburg), Stiftelsen Gyllenkroken and Västra Götalandsregionen.

The symposium will be in Swedish and more information about the event can be found at the Swedish version of this page.
